Cooking With Chef Ted
Cooking with Chef Ted
How Our Vermont Cooking Classes Are Different from the Rest
These are not demonstrations or lectures. These are hands-on cooking classes. Cooking with Chef Ted means stepping into a real kitchen, working with fresh ingredients, and learning by doing. Classes are small and focused on food people actually want to cook and share. Whether you’re new to the kitchen or already comfortable with the basics, Ted teaches at your level with patience, experience, and humor.
Each class draws on decades of professional cooking and teaching. You’ll chop, stir, and taste your way through the process, then sit down to enjoy the meal you helped create.
What Kinds of Cooking Classes Are Offered?
There are two ways to cook with Chef Ted. Each one is personal and centered around hospitality.
Cooking Classes: Small group, hands-on sessions in Ted’s kitchen, or in your's. A good fit for families, couples, travelers, or small groups looking for something memorable to do together.
Chef for a Day: An extended, private cooking experience for individuals or groups who want to go deeper or focus on a specific menu.
Who Takes These Hands-On Cooking Classes?
Guests include locals and visitors, beginners and experienced home cooks. Some attend with family, others as part of a bachelorette weekend or small retreat. Many travel from Woodstock, Killington, Burlington, or the Upper Valley. Some make the trip as part of a Vermont vacation and end up booking a second class before they leave.
